Tyranids Vs Dark Eldar - 1000pts

Let me just say I used my list from the last post and had a little panic because we rolled dawn of war, which I noticed kinda screwed my plan back a turn, still won though.

His list
Archon with electroshock whip and shadow field (and some power weapon, don't know whether thats the whip or not...)

10 Warriors with blaster and phantasm grenade launcher in a raider(darklance), hanging out with the archon

10 Warriors with blaster

10 wyches with hekatrix w/ agonizer and 2 hydra gauntlets in raider(darklance)

6 Raver jetbacks with bloodvaynes

Ravager with blasters

How to deliver hormogaunts in 3 simple steps

So my mind is running wild at the moment. 90 poisoned (4+) attacks with re-rolls to wound is kind of a big thing, so the delivery of 30 hormogaunts into CC is a kinda cool idea. But how do you footslog 30 hormogaunts, un-touched across a table, Simple!

Recent game

So i havent posted for a while due to many things, which we wont go into detail about.

A list i have run on 2 occassions now seems to be working rather well for me, it includes

Swarmlord
2x tyrand guard, 1 with lash whips

10x Ymgrl Genestealers

10x Genestealers

10x Hormogaunts

Simple setup, both stealers to deal with back field issues; hormogaunts to screen swarmy and guards but also to tie up units you dont want charging swarmy; and then swarmlord to just dish out pain.

so far this has landed me a win against arjack and logan in raider (only took one round of combat and they didnt even land a hit) and then also against a tau strike force which crumbled beneath my stealers.
Apparently this is a really mean list at 1000pts and i can understand why, the last place you want your character to be is combat with swarmy and you are always threatened by the late stealers and long range hormogaunts, wada you think?

Deathwing

So tomorrow is Thursday, the game night for the local GW and my fiance has work till 8 so I'm going to take my dark angels down for a change and see how they fair. I don't expect to win anything, but it would be nice. Here's the planned list:

So today I popped down to my FLGS and had a nice quick 500 point game. I think it was my opponents bad choice of units, but for the badass super killer elves of the universe, I WIPED the small band of DE across the board from me.

Thus starts another element of the hobby that most people look at but may never delve the depths of.

Just some startup stats, Army's I play:

40k Tyranids
40k Dark Angels (I know >.>)

WFB Lizardmen

Thats pretty much it. Ive played one tourney, which i came second in by 1 minor extra objective :(

I aspire to post for BOLS one day, but i dont have my hopes up too high.
